Originally, this picture was very random.... looking at in now, though, actually, everything ended up fitting together perfectly without my intending it to...

My, that is lovely. I particularly love the details, like the gauze pad on Kanda's arm, the bandaging around his neck, and even the slight highlights on the fingernails. Then again, the entire piece is great too. (Eh, sorry for soundlike like a loon.)

GOD DAMN IT. I keep trying to get the cool coloring with the green in Kanda's hair, but it keeps failing... >: *insanely jealous*

Ah, weelll. D: I don't know how you're doing it (I'll assume you're using colorpencils), but I make sure to lightly color in the blues and green first.
Then you need a darker blue and green color to put in the shading. Then from there, you want to try to mix the blue and green together where they meet in the coloring.

Only when you get all that do you start to go over it more to complete the coloring. You don't want to try going for the look I have in my finished drawings until after you have all the shading and highlights in place. 'Cause it's pretty much impossible to mix colors after the fact.

Uhm... I hope I'm making some sort of sense, here.... OTL

I get it. ^^ Thank you~.
